RIETSCHLE DFT 80 VANE INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT

Inspection of the DFT 80 should begin with the condition of the complete four-vane set. Differences in length, surface finish or edge condition can indicate that wear has not been uniform. Keep the removed vanes together so their condition can be compared. Each new vane is 180 × 40 × 5 mm. Measure the vane height against the 30 mm minimum working height specified for the DFT 80. If any vane is cracked, chipped or worn to the limit, inspect the pump internally before fitting replacements.
