ELMO RIETSCHLE VFT 60 REPLACEMENT CARBON VANES
VacAir supplies replacement carbon vanes for the Elmo Rietschle VFT 60 dry-running rotary vane vacuum pump. The VFT 60 requires 4 carbon vanes for a complete replacement.
Each replacement vane measures 200 × 34 × 4 mm and corresponds to Rietschle OEM references 507108 and 524009. VacAir supplies replacements under part numbers VA507108 and VA524009.
The 507108 vane specification is also listed for other Rietschle vacuum pump models, including the CLFT 60DV, CLFT 61 and DFT 60. The vane dimensions are the same, but the quantity required varies between pump models.

REPLACING ELMO RIETSCHLE VFT 60 CARBON VANES

The Elmo Rietschle VFT 60 uses four carbon vanes. Inspect all four during servicing and replace the complete set when required. Each new vane measures 200 × 34 × 4 mm. Check the existing vanes for chipping, fractures, uneven contact marks and excessive wear. Before installing new vanes, inspect: ✓ Rotor and rotor slots
✓ Cylinder wall and running surfaces
✓ Bearings and rotor condition
✓ Inlet and exhaust filtration
✓ Carbon dust and loose fragments
✓ Signs of overheating or uneven wear
Important: If a vane has fractured, remove all fragments and carbon debris. Inspect the cylinder wall, rotor slots and internal surfaces, and investigate the cause before fitting a new set.
