ELMO RIETSCHLE VTE 8 REPLACEMENT CARBON VANES

The VTE 8 is part of the compact Elmo Rietschle VTE dry-running vacuum pump range. Its carbon vanes must move freely within the rotor slots to maintain effective operation. REPLACING ELMO RIETSCHLE VTE 8 CARBON VANES

The Elmo Rietschle VTE 8 requires four carbon vanes. Inspect all four during maintenance and replace the complete set when required. The replacement vanes measure 45 × 19 × 3 mm. Check the existing vanes for cracks, chipped edges, fractures and uneven wear. Careful handling and cleanliness during installation are important to avoid damage to the replacement vanes. Before installing new vanes, inspect: ✓ Rotor and vane slots
✓ Cylinder wall and running surfaces
✓ Bearings and rotor condition
✓ Inlet and exhaust filtration
✓ Carbon dust and broken fragments
