REPLACING BECKER WN 124-082 CARBON VANES
Becker WN 124-082 replacement carbon vanes are used in several versions of the Becker DT3.6, VT3.6, DT 3.8 and VT 3.8 dry-running rotary vane pumps. As the vanes wear during normal operation, their remaining height gradually decreases. Regular inspection and timely replacement help maintain vacuum performance and reduce the risk of unexpected machinery downtime.
A new WN 124-082 carbon vane measures 40 × 24 × 3 mm, with an original vane height of 24 mm. The minimum wear height is 19 mm. Inspect the complete set for remaining height, cracks, chipped edges, uneven wear or damage that may indicate an underlying pump problem.
Correct pump identification is particularly important with this vane because different Becker DT and VT versions use different quantities.
