ELMO RIETSCHLE TL 3 REPLACEMENT CARBON VANES
The Elmo Rietschle TL 3 is a dry-running rotary vane pump. Its carbon vanes are wearing components that should be inspected and replaced as part of regular maintenance.
VacAir supplies Rietschle 507051 replacement carbon vanes for the TL 3. Each vane measures 40 × 15 × 3 mm, and the pump requires four vanes for a complete replacement.
New vanes have a height of 15 mm. The specified minimum permitted vane height for the TL 3 is 11 mm. Measuring the remaining vane height helps determine when replacement is necessary.

TL 3 CARBON VANE INSPECTION & REPLACEMENT

The four carbon vanes fitted to the TL 3 gradually wear during operation. Routine inspection helps identify vanes approaching their permitted wear limit and provides an opportunity to check the condition of the pump. New vanes measure 40 × 15 × 3 mm. Their original height is 15 mm, and the minimum permitted height is 11 mm.
