The Elmo Rietschle VTN 60 uses seven carbon vanes. Inspect all seven during servicing and replace the complete set when required. Each new vane measures 95 × 47 × 4 mm. Check the existing vanes for chipping, fractures, uneven contact marks and excessive wear. Before installing new vanes, inspect: ✓ Rotor and rotor slots
✓ Cylinder wall and running surfaces
✓ Bearings and rotor condition
✓ Inlet and exhaust filtration
✓ Carbon dust and loose fragments
✓ Signs of overheating or uneven wear
