The Becker VT 3.25 dry-running rotary vane vacuum pump requires seven WN 124-162 carbon vanes for a complete replacement. As with other dry-running rotary vane pumps, the vanes are wearing components and should be inspected as part of a planned maintenance programme rather than waiting until a loss of vacuum or mechanical failure occurs.
