During normal dry-running operation, the vanes gradually wear as they maintain contact with the pump’s internal running surface. Choosing the correct replacement quantity is particularly important with WN 124-252. The Becker DVX3.60 and DVX3.80 require seven vanes, corresponding to OEM reference 90140100007. FITTING WN 124-252 REPLACEMENT VANES Before opening the pump, safely isolate the equipment and follow the applicable Becker maintenance procedure. The higher edge of the vane is the leading edge, with the chamfer following behind. The illustration shows the general orientation principle, but the correct direction of fitting must always be checked against the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific Becker pump. Once the pump has been reassembled, carry out the recommended checks and commissioning procedure. If the old vanes were broken, badly worn on one side or damaged unusually quickly, the cause should be investigated before returning the pump to continuous service.
