VacAir supplies Rietschle 507107 replacement carbon vanes for the CLFT 40, CLFT 41 and VFT 40 dry-running rotary vane pumps.
The 507107 carbon vane measures 190 × 27 × 4 mm and is common to all three pump models. The number of vanes fitted, however, differs between the CLFT and VFT pumps, making the pump model important when ordering a complete replacement set.
The replacement can be identified from Rietschle part number 507107, VacAir code VA507107, the vane dimensions or your Rietschle pump model.

Carbon vanes are wearing components within dry-running rotary vane pumps. When replacing 507107 vanes, it is worthwhile checking the condition of the pump at the same time rather than treating the vane change in isolation. Areas worth inspecting while the pump is open include: ✓ Rotor and rotor shaft condition
✓ Rotor slots and free movement of the vanes
✓ Internal pump surfaces
✓ Bearings and excessive movement
✓ Inlet filter condition
✓ Evidence of contamination or overheating The correct number of replacement vanes should also be confirmed from the pump model. Although the same 507107 vane is used across this family, the CLFT 40 and CLFT 41 require eight vanes while the VFT 40 requires four.
If the previous vanes have broken, worn unevenly or failed prematurely, investigate the internal condition of the pump and the possible cause before fitting the replacement set.

VacAir has supplied replacement vacuum pump vanes and spares since 1996, supporting OEMs, distributors, maintenance engineers, service companies and end users.
We hold extensive stocks of carbon vanes in the UK, but our role goes beyond simply putting vanes in a box. Our team understands the pumps they operate in and can help identify the correct replacement using the Rietschle part number, pump model or physical vane dimensions.
That pump knowledge can be particularly useful with a family such as 507107, where the same vane is used in several pumps but the required set quantity is not the same. We can help confirm whether your application requires the four-vane or eight-vane set before despatch.
If a pump is suffering poor performance, premature vane wear or broken vanes, VacAir can also discuss likely areas to inspect. Our Leeds operation includes workshop servicing and refurbishment, vacuum pump spares and field engineering support.
Our Price Promise combines competitive replacement-vane pricing with genuine vacuum pump knowledge and technical support.
Rietschle 507107 replacement carbon vanes measure 190 × 27 × 4 mm.
Rietschle 507107 carbon vanes are used in the CLFT 40, CLFT 41 and VFT 40 pumps.
The quantity depends on the pump model. The CLFT 40 and CLFT 41 each require 8 vanes, while the VFT 40 requires 4 vanes.
Yes. All three pumps use the same Rietschle 507107 carbon vane measuring 190 × 27 × 4 mm. The difference is the number of vanes required in each pump.
Identification can be made using Rietschle part number 507107, the dimensions 190 × 27 × 4 mm, or the CLFT 40, CLFT 41 or VFT 40 pump model. The VacAir replacement code is VA507107.
Check the rotor and shaft, rotor slots, internal pump surfaces, bearings and inlet filter, together with any evidence of contamination, overheating or abnormal vane wear.
Broken, unevenly worn or prematurely worn vanes can indicate that the pump requires further investigation. The internal condition and possible cause of the abnormal wear should be checked before fitting the new vane set.
Yes. VacAir can help identify and supply the correct vane set and also provides vacuum pump servicing, fault investigation, vane replacement and workshop repair where required.
