The Becker DVT 3.140 is a dry-running rotary vane pressure pump using 7 carbon graphite vanes. VacAir supplies a complete replacement vane set manufactured to the correct 240 × 48 × 4 mm dimensions for this model.
The vane used in the DVT 3.140 is identified as WN 124-031. The Becker reference for the complete 7-vane set is 90133400007, with VacAir replacement reference VA901334.

REPLACING BECKER DVT 3.140 CARBON VANES

The DVT 3.140 uses seven carbon vanes and all vanes should be inspected together during routine maintenance. New WN 124-031 vanes have a height of 48 mm and should be replaced before reaching the 31 mm minimum wear height.
When the pump is opened for a vane change, take the opportunity to inspect:

✓ Cylinder body and internal surfaces
✓ Bearings
✓ Inlet and exhaust filters
✓ Relief valve operation
✓ Carbon dust, overheating or unusual wear patterns
If a vane has broken or chipped, make sure all fragments and carbon debris are removed before installing the replacement set. Simply fitting new vanes without identifying the reason for abnormal wear can lead to premature failure.
